Things start to happen at 60...strange.

Just a couple of years ago I thought my memory was not too bad, as compared to some of my peers. That is how it is. We need a reference point as we do not go for special tests to determine the extent of our memory deterioration.
I could still perform my work at school fairly well and did not miss out things. Of course, as always, I have the habit of keeping a record of things to do and it helped much.
However, this year I find myself grappling with Memory more often. Scary to me at first but I soon got over it. Now I am playing more memory games to stretch that 'muscle' a bit.

My friend, an atheist.

I had never known an atheist before but in the past five years I have come across about a dozen and I am quite suprised that people who do not acknowledge the existence of God do exist in my midst.  I thought they were some authors who wrote atheist books and not among any of my friends. However I realized how naive I was.
Therefore, I decided to try to understand them. I could not fathom how they could live from day to day not knowing God!
It would be too unthinkable for me. Impossible!
One atheist asked the question about why humans had to think they are different from  and more superior than other creatures. The atheist liked his idea of humility.
Oh no, but we are God's precious children. Eventhough we are sinners, He will always forgive us. I like to feel God' s unconditional love. I like to know of His supreme power so that whatever seems impossible becomes possible. I like to know that sometimes miracles do happen.
How sad and hopeless life will be if there is no God!

God Knows Best

Some of us make the mistake of going by the book. We forget that we are humans, each with a heart, and we have feelings. God looks into our hearts, not our minds . It is the love He wants us to 'inherit' from Him. We just need to listen to His plans and obey, not much worrying to be done actually because all plans are under His divine control. Usually plans that are unselfish and filled with love are on the right track. Usually such plans will have been derived from much discussion from various relevant quarters and have gone through earnest prayers. Surely His divine Hands are upon them.
