When we are serious about something, we should not make excuses about failing to meet up to its expectations. I am referring more to something that we want to be good in for example in drawing or painting. Many a times, I find myself giving tons of excuses to myself or someone around me as to why I have not been doing something I claim to be passionate about. It is not right actually because if one is passionate about it, one should be all out engaging in it, be it rain or shine. No excuse about illness or loaded with other responsibilities even.
Having that strict regiment , I cannot see why there is no progress. I have seen it in myself.
I am a believer in the saying, @Practice makes perfect'.
It is true! Now, how to go about ensuring this 'practice'?
I should think forming a habit is utmost important. Make sure the tools , as in my case, the brushes or pencils are always accessible and I always have them on the table. Never kept in drawers. So are the papers or drawing pads. Avoid watching television as much as possible. Dont start watching a serial movie.
Well, if you are passionate about something, everything else must go!
